Unified and Enhanced User Interface in AlignBooks

A redesigned and unified interface across AlignBooks improves consistency, navigation, and usability, creating a smoother and more efficient user experience across all modules.

Transaction UI Standardization Across Modules

  • Access actions like Open, Delete, Copy, Cancel, Recall, Restore, Schedule, Calculator, Help, UI Configuration, and Print Configuration to manage, configure, and process documents easily.
  • These options let you zoom items, export to Excel, view postings, configure the grid, manage Pick & Pack, use Fast Billing, copy/paste data, add rows, and manage wanting.
  • Additional inventory options like Serial, Dimensions, and Bundle are now available under the More Options icon, giving more space in the Item Table. Attributes and Widget UI have also been updated.
  • Item table actions such as Add/Delete Rows, Search Item/Barcode, and Copy Row are now grouped under a single three-dot (⋮) icon.
  • Logistics and Shipping sections and E-Way Bill / E-Invoice are now separated and categorized for clearer and faster data entry.
  • Save, Print, and Clear buttons have been organized, and Print Configuration has been moved to the top-right dropdown.
  • Mail and Import options are now grouped together, creating more bottom space for a cleaner and clearer layout.
  • Previously, Open, Delete, Copy, Cancel, Restore, Calculator, Help, and Configuration were crowded at the top. Now Open, Delete, Copy, Help, and Calculator are placed at the top-right for quicker access.
  • In the Dropdown, find the other options Cancel, Recall, Restore, Schedule, UI Configuration, Print Configuration.
(Print Configuration is placed from the bottom left side of the UI).
  • Item Table options scattered across the table are now placed on the right side.
  • Through the settings icon, you can find option to save Grid configuration, set default Grid and Column chooser option.
  • Through the dropdown, you can find option to select/ Add pick & pack, Fast Billing, Copy/Paste Grid data, Add row and view wanting.
  • Item table UI updated, this change increases the visible space in the Item Table, allowing you to view important item details in one screen without scrolling to the right.
  • Add More Rows, Delete Rows, Search Item, Search Barcode, and Copy Row are under one (⋮) menu.
  • Attributes and Widgets remain with a new UI.
  • And Serial Number, Dimensions, and Bundle Details are moved to another (⋮) menu.
  • The bottom section UI has been reorganized for better grouping, with Logistics Details, Shipping Details, and E-Way/E-Invoice Details, Import/Export now compiled into one dedicated section based on the Transaction Type.
  • Each dropdown now contains its relevant related options grouped under it, which you can view in detail by expanding the respective section.
  • Buttons and icons have been reorganized with improved size, placement, and a cleaner design for better visibility, consistency, and a uniform experience across all AlignBooks screens.
  • Print Configuration and Schedule options have been moved to a top-right dropdown menu in the new UI, as they are less frequently used.

Button & Action Controls Revamp

  • AlignBooks UI now features consistent buttons, better spacing, and organized layout for improved visibility and navigation.
  • The design is now uniform throughout the application, ensuring better visibility, smoother navigation, and a more structured user experience.

Additional Features & Enhancements

  • Top options (1) and (2) are now consolidated for a cleaner layout and easier access. Clear Filter and Show Filter buttons have been moved above the data grid (3) to make filtering quicker and more convenient.
  • An Eye icon has been added to hide the data dashboard for privacy during meetings or while sharing screens.
  • The Help icon has been updated in each module and now links directly to the documentation for the current screen.
  • Some dashboard icons have been updated in design, while their placement remains the same as in the previous UI.
  • Through the Help icon on the dashboard, you can access support related options such as Ticket Generation, Feedback submission, Tutorials, Help – Getting Started, FAQs, Release Notes, and more.
  • The Top right options UI has been updated with a new and improved interface to provide better navigation, clearer options and an overall smoother user experience.
  • All Module menu UI has been improved by introducing a search option and grouping related features into expandable sub-menus, making navigation more structured and easier compared to the earlier long list format.
    • Enterprise Dashboard UI has been redesigned with a more modern layout, fully customizable, improved data widgets, and better visualization for quicker insights and easier navigation compared to the earlier dashboard.
    • Reports UI has been completely redesigned. A search tab is now available at the top. Reports are organized into four chips: Primary, Category, Document, Industry and Role. You can also see the report count in each section, view recently visited reports and access several other improvements.
    • Reports view has also been updated. Icons have been changed, action buttons that were earlier shown at the bottom are now placed at the top and spacing has been increased for better visibility.
    • You can view the old reports layout through the document icon.
